    You understand and agree that the City of Fort St. John may edit, adapt, shorten, or format your submitted story for clarity, length, accessibility, and style. Your story may be published on the City’s Northbound & Found microsite, social media channels, or other City communications.
  2. Permission and Rights
    You confirm that the story is your original work and that you have the right to submit it. By submitting, you grant the City a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual right to use, reproduce, and share the content for promotional and informational purposes.
  3. Contact
    You consent to the City contacting you regarding your submission, including for clarification, follow‑up questions, or related communications.
  4. Accuracy and Conduct
    You agree that your submission does not contain false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or unlawful content. The City reserves the right to refuse or remove any submission at its discretion.
